Furnished Room in 3 bedroom house share U City

House share with 3 (3 total, including yourself potentially) grad student, busy, studious, working professional types of a large Victorian rowhouse. Homeowners used to live here full-time and work at Penn, but have moved out to the Philly suburbs... about 45 mins away (close enough to easily be there if anything needs attention at the house, but far enough away that practically speaking, you'd be likely to see very little of us). House is in a very well-kept safe part of University City just off the intersection of S 48th st and Hazel Ave. We are about a mile walk/bike to the west side of UPenn campus. We are also right on the route of the Penn West shuttle (worth looking up if you're not familiar) which stops right outside our door. 34 trolley (2 blocks away) is also a very good public transportation option into Penn.

House and rooms are completely furnished. And the house is well equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, gadgets, etc that one would need in the kitchen. Makes for a very easy move in/out - just you and your personal effects please. If you have a favorite chair for the desk, or some special coffee maker you can't live without, etc, that would be fine. But we can't rent to someone needing to move in and/or store furniture (certainly no beds, dressers, tables, etc... we just don't have space for that)

Rent is $575/month, plus a share of the utilities. Amount of utility share varies through the year of course - the avg winter months (Dec-March) it's usually around $100. Outside of winter is generally much less, more like $50

$1,150 Deposit to secure lease (Security and last month's rent). 1st month rent due moving in.

Room shares 3rd floor and hall bath with one other housemate (female). Housemate with room and private hall bath on 2nd floor is male.

Thanks! Good luck with your housing search and hope to hear from you!
